About Us

What We Do
At Spreezio, our purpose is to change the way the world shops and sells-through location-based personalized shopping deals that save our customers money. We connect online shoppers to local merchants enabling them to quickly make a deal on products or services, ensuring shoppers get the best value.

With Spreezio, shoppers can make their own coupons for almost any product or service based on their personal needs, where everything is negotiable. Shoppers make a deal by sending out an offer to merchants based on their location and how far they are willing to shop.

Merchants receive qualified leads from imminent shoppers enabling them to get more customers and slash sales & advertising costs to become more profitable. Spreezio enables merchants to compete on value and not price through value-added services, up sells, or cross sells. Merchants can either accept a shopper's offer or counter it to get their business.
Antidote to the Recession
Spreezio was conceived when our founder, Todd Chipman, noticed an uptick of merchants going out-of-business in Willow Glen (a suburb of San Jose, California) prior to the recession. He started challenging the way shoppers and merchants have traditionally conducted commerce and wanted to redefine the shopping experience, making it more personal and social, where everybody wins.

What if shoppers could get "more for less" while merchants could "sell more and spend less"? Voilá! For shoppers, "more" might be all about getting local merchandise for "less" than ever imagined. Or finding "more" choices with "less" driving around town. Maybe it means getting "more" service for "less" of a budget so you can shop or eat out "more" often. Because of Spreezio, merchants can get found so they can sell "more" and spend "less" on sales promotions and advertising. We turn "less" into "more" because our service is free to everyone!
By the Way...
Our location-based just-in-time shopping and advertising patent-pending technology unlocks a new category of commerce unavailable in the market place before. This is why you have never seen our solution until now! Sometimes pure inspiration leads to innovation that can't be created with $1B+ R&D budgets. More market changing technology is coming your way-we have just begun!
Careers
At Spreezio we believe in enthusiasm, reward for hard work, a good sense of humor, and the timeless magic of a creative spark.

If you like new challenges, know your stuff, don't mind pulling your weight, expect your job to do as much for you as you do for it, and you're ready to speak up when inspiration hits you, you might be our sort of employee!

We're not currently recruiting, but if you'd like to get on our radar, please send us your resume and a cover letter at jobs@spreezio.com.

What's the best deal you ever got? I occasionally play the guitar and collect them. I really wanted a Gibson Les Paul Jimmy Page Custom Shop ax when they came out a few years ago. My wife about had a heart attack when she saw the price so I had to start "beating the bushes" to find a good deal. I finally found a merchant who sold it to me for $3,600 and they threw-in an AC/DC songbook. The neighborhood has never been the same again! What else are you into? Other interests include vintage car shows, cycling, and playing with the kids and dogs.

What's the best deal you ever got? Best deal I ever got was on an LCD television I bought. Tweeter (a home entertainment retailer) was going out of business. I was able to negotiate with the manager to buy a brand new Sony Bravia for only $1,600!! It was a phenomenal deal. What else are you into? When not working, I'm exercising, playing video games, or spending time with the family and our dogs!

What's the best deal you ever got? I bought my first car from a friend of my dad for the equivalent of $500 in today's dollars. I drove that car across six countries and thousands of miles and it never let me down. Best car investment I ever made. What else are you into? Hanging out with my family, skiing, watching soccer games and old movies.

What's the best deal you ever got? I paid $500 for a $900 37" flat screen at a Target in Southern California on Black Friday in 2007-I love that TV! What else are you into? I love hanging with the wife, playing with my two little sons, surfing, watching football, and playing video games.

What's the best deal you ever got? I once got a $900 32" LCD tv for $400. That thing has gotten me through high volume tv nights such as "Thursday". What else are you into? I love having a good time in general. I play soccer, ski race, road bike, and hang out with my friends.

What's the best deal you ever got? I purchased a used hybrid Camry! After a lot of research at dealers around our area were able to find a 2008 Certified Camry Hybrid with a mere 15k miles on it for $20k! This was a steal, as usually they go for $23-24k with even more miles, and in some cases are not certified. What else are you into? My hobbies include cooking, spending time with my family, fine art admiration (and creation when there is time to practice my oil painting).

What's the best deal you ever got? I have to choose just one? I'll have to go with the restaurant/hotel that hosted my wedding. We'd chosen a nice Boston restaurant as our reception location, but when our guest list blossomed unexpectedly, we thought we might be too crowded. Just on a whim we stopped into one of Boston's more historic, ritzy and beautiful hotels, and, knowing we couldn't possibly afford it, just for fun we asked about their prices. They turned out to be less than our original venue! And when we pushed our luck and asked about possible deals, they threw in a gorgeous ballroom for our ceremony for only $100! Just shows what you can get, if you only ask! What else are you into? I'm a part-time historian, and a full-time shopaholic who is discovering the thrill of buying for two since I became a new mama in April. Bring on the baby clothes!
